Brett and I decided that we wanted to keep a family tradition of cutting down our own Christmas tree. So we packed up the kids and headed for the mountains. We were lucky it was a nice day, which made it very easy for us to find the perfect tree. Our idea of a perfect tree was one we could see from our car so we could keep the kids happy and warm and not have to carry out two kids and a tree. Everyone had a great time and can't wait to keep the tradition going.
Do you think we have enough stuff for one day.

Here comes Santa and his Reindeer
This year we thought we would take Tyler to see Santa and his reindeer, we thought it might not be as crowded as the mall. The kids were having a great time and really did get to see real reindeer. Tyler was so excited to sit on Santa's lap which was a big change from the scared Tyler last year. She did great and couldn't wait to tell Santa that she wants the princess talking vanity, Santa won't have to guess what she wants this year, I hope Santa can find it.

Max is on the move!
Max is on the move and loves being able to follow his big sis around. I know most people don't like it when there kids start to crawl but I actually like it, he stays busy for hours and is so happy to be crawling. The same week he started crawling he got his two front teeth, they sure grow up fast.
So many of you know that Brett and I get hot easliy, well we have past the gene onto our daughter. I can never get Tyler to where a jacket, and if I get her in a long sleeve shirt she has the sleeves pulled up within seconds. We were getting ready to go to school and it was going to be cold out so I told her she had to where pants and a long sleeve shirt, so she did. The second we got home and in the house she said mom now that we are inside can I pull up my pants, I turned around to look at her and here she was with her clothes pulled up saying she was to hot in the house for long pants and shirt.

Happy Hallowen
Since Tyler didn't want me to make her a pig costume this year, what else would a 3 year old girl want to be but a princess. So her is our princess and lion. Tyler thought is was great trick or treating and ask me when she could go again. That doesn't sound like my daughter at all. Hope everyone had a great Halloween.

Weekend in Aspen
We were lucky enough to go up to Aspen this last weekend with all Brett's siblings. It was a nice little vacation, and thanks to Mimi and Papa we were able to go without the kids.

Girl Time
I have to say thank you to Brett for a fun filled girl month. First I went to California for my friend Jenny's wedding, while Brett stayed with the kids. Next my sister came to visit and Brett let us have a girls weekend without the kids, since my sister came to get away from her four.

Aggie Football Game
When mom was in California, dad decided to take the kids to the an Aggie football game in Wyoming. It started out great, Tyler was so excited to be going with dad and Scotty to a football game. She had her Aggie shirt, pom poms, and even had some Aggie tattoos on her face. The excitement faded fast, half way into the first quarter, she was laying on the bench asking when is it time to go. Some much for Tyler loving football, but they still had a great time.
We love spending time with dad!
Go Aggies!

So SleepyBrett's Golf Trip
Every year Brett and Scott plan a golf trip with some buddies, this year it was to New Mexico. They had a great time, no kids, no wives telling them what to do, what guy wouldn't have fun.

Tyler's frist day of Preschool September 4th
I can't believe my little girl is off to school, I'm so excited and sad at the same time. We went to meet the teacher and do a scavenger hunt the first day, as we were leaving Tyler asked me when do I get to come by myself like a big girl? At least I know she is excited. The day after Tyler's first day I went to a wedding with my friend Sydney that I meet at preschool, I thought how neat Tyler could be meeting a friend she will have for a lifetime.
